    Salary: 30,000 – 35,000

    Key Duties & Responsibilities

    1. Business Development & Sales

    • Identify and target new customers in import/export, trading, manufacturing, and logistics sectors.
    • Generate sales leads through cold calling, visits, networking, and digital channels.
    • Promote the company’s services: sea freight, air freight, road transport, customs clearance, warehousing, multimodal logistics.
    • Negotiate rates, terms, and contracts with clients while ensuring profitability.
    • Prepare and send quotations, proposals, and freight offers to prospective customers.
    • Follow up regularly to convert leads into shipments.

    2. Customer Relationship Management

    • Maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients.
    • Provide after-sales support and ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Handle customer complaints or service issues in coordination with operations.
    • Update clients about shipment status, delays, or changes.

    3. Coordination with Operations & Documentation

    • Work closely with the operations and documentation team to ensure smooth execution of shipments.
    • Provide accurate shipping instructions and client requirements to the operations team.
    • Ensure all documents (B/L, AWB, invoices, packing lists, etc.) are arranged correctly.

    4. Market & Competitor Analysis

    • Monitor competitor pricing, promotions, and market strategies.
    • Keep track of shipping line/airline freight rates and update management.
    • Suggest competitive pricing strategies based on market trends.

    5. Reporting & Targets

    • Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets (number of shipments, volume, or revenue).
    • Submit weekly sales reports to management.
    • Update and maintain client database (CRM system or Excel).

    6. Compliance & Professionalism

    • Ensure compliance with Pakistan customs regulations, INCOTERMS, and international trade laws.
    • Uphold the company’s reputation through ethical sales practices.
    • Represent the company in client meetings, trade exhibitions, and networking events.

    Skills

    Skills & Requirements

    • Strong knowledge of freight forwarding, logistics, and supply chain.
    • Good communication (English & Urdu), negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure with monthly shipment targets.
    • Proficiency in MS Office, emails, and preferably CRM tools.
    • Existing client contacts in shipping and trading sectors is a plus.
