Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for designing and conducting cutting-edge research using various techniques commonly applied in the field of research, while also ensuring the smooth execution and management of the entire project independently with minimal supervision from the PI or Co-PI. Specific responsibilities will be to:
- assist senior faculty in conducting, managing and planning researchproject by determining theoretical
- conduct experiments deviseinstrumentation and techniques torecord and collect test results
- correlate data compiled in research and interpret the results
- develop new concepts, methods andTechniques to solve scientificproblems
- carry out literature survey, datasearching and retrieval, utilizing avariety of techniques andtechnologies
- contribute directly todevelopment of a research strategyfor on-going research projects
- compile information, data &practice examples for publications
- prepare quantitative and qualitativeanalysis of data.
- prepare write-up of the results,manuscripts of paper presentationand research proposals
- raise Purchase Requisition ofrequired items and animals used forresearch and keep track record ofrequisitions.
- provide training to the study staff asper the protocols and guidelines ofstudy;
- ensure the completeness, properfilings, and archiving of the CRFs;
- develop and implement QA QCplan with documentation andreporting
- contribute to and writing researchfindings for publications, papers,presentations, grants, and otherdocuments
- prepare and compile of studyprogress report;
- collaborate with the DataManager and prepare monthly projectreports
- present the study results as per therequirement
- familiar with a variety of the fieldsconcepts, practices, and procedures
- participate in the conductintroductory and advancedworkshops for capacity buildingwith the supervisor
- ensure quality control and maintain good working relationship with staff, community, collaborators, and stakeholders.
Requirements:
You should have:
- Ph.D. focusing on Parasitology and or Neonatology.
- preferably with additional certification and knowledge of Good Clinical Practices
- experience in managing research projects or clinical trials, data analysis and report writing or exposure tothese during training
- ability to work and lead a team and participate in journal clubs
- excellent scientific writing ability
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- willingness to mentor or supervise undergraduate and post graduate students
- project management skills
- experience in representing the institution in national and international conferences.
