Job description
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and journals.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Perform bank reconciliations and manage accounts payable/receivable.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and payroll.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards (GAAP/IFRS).
• Liaise with internal and external auditors during audits.
• Support tax preparation and filing (GST, TDS, income tax, etc.).
• Analyze financial data and provide insights intomanagement.
• Use accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or Zoho Books) for day-to-day operations.
Skills
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA/CPA preferred but not mandatory).
• Proven experience (2–5 years) as an accountant or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
