Corporate and Digital Communications Lead

    JOB PURPOSE

    This role is responsible for leading Unilever Pakistan’s corporate storytelling across digital, social media platforms. The incumbent will drive end-to-end campaign planning, content production, influencer engagement, and digital amplification, while also managing creative design, video editing, and photography assignments. The role requires a mix of strategic communication and creative execution to strengthen Unilever’s brand reputation and purpose-led image.

    WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE 

    Creative Design & Production

    • Lead in-house design and video production for corporate communication assets (static posts, reels, infographics, internal event videos, etc.).
    • Use design tools (Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator) and video editing tools (Premiere Pro, CapCut, etc.) to deliver high-quality outputs. Camera Handling would be a plus point.
    • Manage partners and creative agencies to maintain design consistency across all digital and offline materials.

    Digital & Social Media Management

    • Lead strategy, content planning, and execution for Unilever Pakistan’s corporate social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok).
    • Manage paid media campaigns and analyze performance through analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, Meltwater, etc.).
    • Develop monthly content calendars and review all posts for tone, accuracy, and visual quality.
    • Oversee online reputation management and coordinate timely engagement during high-traffic campaigns.

    Campaigns & Storytelling

    • Conceptualize and execute end-to-end corporate campaigns around Sustainability, Advocacy and other key initiative of Unilever Pakistan.
    • Partner with influencers, creators, and external agencies to amplify storytelling.
    • Create narrative-driven videos and static content highlighting Unilever’s people, purpose, and impact.

    Internal & External Communications

    • Support employee engagement campaigns, internal newsletters, and leadership communication.
    • Align narratives across Corporate Affairs, HR, and Sustainability functions to ensure cohesive brand messaging.

    Stakeholder Management & Partnerships

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on communication objectives.
    • Manage coordination with external agencies, production houses, and media partners to deliver high-quality content and campaigns on time.
    • Identify and onboard new strategic partnerships (e.g., media platforms, digital publishers, NGOs, and influencer networks) to enhance the reach and credibility of Unilever’s purpose-led initiatives.
    • Act as the key liaison between Unilever and partner organizations for joint storytelling opportunities, co-branded campaigns, and social impact collaborations.
    • Ensure timely communication, approvals, and performance reviews with all partners to strengthen long-term working relationships.

    Website & Digital Presence

    • Serve as the editor for Unilever Pakistan’s country website, managing updates, layout, and SEO optimization.
    • Liaise with the global web team for consistency and compliance with brand standards.

    Conventional Media & Coordination

    • Coordinate with PR and media agencies across conventional platforms (TV, print, and OOH) to plan media coverage, ensure brand visibility, and manage external amplification efforts.

    Performance & Reporting

    • Track and report social media performance, campaign reach, engagement, and sentiment on a monthly basis.
    • Present insights and recommendations to leadership for continuous improvement.

    WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

    Qualifications/Experiences 

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Media Sciences, or Design.
    • At least 2 years of relevant experience in digital communications, creative design, and content production.
    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut/Premiere Pro, and Meta Business Suite.
    • Basic knowledge of conventional media planning (TV, print, and radio).
    • Working knowledge of media budget management (buying and allocation)
    • Excellent communication skills, creative eye for detail, and multitasking ability.
