    We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of an Associate Director, Data and Analytics

    In this role, you will:

    • Be a techno-functional leader for a team of engineers that focus on Design, development, deployment, and operations.
    • Sound experience and exposure of Solution Design, High- and Low-level Design to meet Business requirements and Provide Real-Time Solution.
    • Vast Experience of Tech Delivery to meet the Business Demand
    • Lead and contribute to multiple pods with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity.
    • Interface technically with a range of stakeholders with customer and business impact
    • Leading others to solve complex problems.
    • Experience in working within an agile, multidisciplinary DevOps team
    • Migrate and re-engineer existing services from on-premises data centers to Cloud (GCP)
    • Hands on Experience on Google Cloud Platform capabilities specifically around Application Development covering Analysis, Design, Development, Deployment and Production Support.
    • Following the project development tools like JIRA, Confluence and GIT
    • Hands on experience python/shell scripts/GCP Big Query/ Control-M/Airflow/Cloud Composer and Other GCP native tool
    • Build and maintain operations tools for alerting , monitoring, notifications, trending, and analysis.
    • Should be able to bring in DevOps mindset in the team
    • Should have good understanding of SRE concepts and that should be reflected in the solution being given to engineers in the scrum team
    • Define, create, test, and execute operations procedures.
    • Document current and future configuration processes and policies
    • Leading (not managing) by doing, helping technical people and teams through complexity and towards an improved way of engineering.
    • On the constant lookout for continuous improvement of technology, practices, and processes.
    • Raising the bar on quality and expectations of what being an engineer means through your actions and behavior.
    • Techno Functional Delivery Management, Stakeholders Management, People Management.

    To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:  

    • Engineering fundamentals (it’s a creative craft with 100 different ways to solve each problem, underpinned with deep discipline)
    • A continuous improvement mindset (if you don’t know something – learn it)
    • Desing & Engineering exposure to infrastructure, platform, or function as a service
    • Latest practices in continuous delivery and operations.
    • Fundamental agile delivery (think agile values, not any particular methodology)
    • Experience in python/shell scripts/GCP Big Query/ Control-M/Airflow/Cloud Composer / Hadoop knowledge, NiFi/Kafka and CI/CD pipelines.
    • Should have experience on any of the RDBMS (Big Query or Teradata or Oracle)
    • Experience of working on a data environment
    • Experience of designing data applications, alongside architects
    • Experience of change management
    • Experience of support work and troubleshooting
    • Stakeholder management and working with diverse teams
    • GCP or Any other Certified Professionals in relevant technologies are preferred.
    • Understanding of IT Service ownership activity
