    Salary: 65,000 – 80,000

    Qualification

    • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for heavy-duty trucks and trailers.

    Experience

    • Previous experience as a truck driver, preferably operating heavy-duty trucks and trailers.

    Requirements

    • Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness (Dover test).
    • Clean driving record with no history of accidents or serious traffic violations.
    • Ability to sit for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks such as loading and unloading cargo.
    • Strong commitment to safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
    • Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and map reading for route planning.
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
    • Attention to detail for vehicle and cargo inspections and accurate paperwork completion.
    • Dependable, punctual, with a strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines.
    • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

    Responsibilities

    • Safely operate specialized tractors or heavy equipment including bulldozers, loaders, excavators, and haul trucks in mining operations.
    • Transport earth, rocks, ore, and other materials within the mining site efficiently and timely.
    • Perform excavation, grading, and earthmoving tasks as directed.
    • Load haul trucks or transport vehicles with mined materials and dump or stockpile in designated areas.
    • Assist in the construction and maintenance of roads within the mining site.
    • Adhere to all safety regulations, including proper use of PPE and following safety protocols.
    • Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment, inspect fluids, lubricate parts, and report defects.
    • Communicate with supervisors and coworkers to coordinate activities and report progress or issues.
    • Follow environmental regulations and best practices to minimize operational impact.
