    Key Duties & Responsibilities

    1. Business Development & Sales

    Identify and target new customers in import/export, trading, manufacturing, and logistics sectors.
    Generate sales leads through cold calling, visits, networking, and digital channels.
    Promote the company’s services: sea freight, air freight, road transport, customs clearance, warehousing, multimodal logistics.
    Negotiate rates, terms, and contracts with clients while ensuring profitability.
    Prepare and send quotations, proposals, and freight offers to prospective customers.
    Follow up regularly to convert leads into shipments.

    1. Customer Relationship Management

    Maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients.
    Provide after-sales support and ensure customer satisfaction.
    Handle customer complaints or service issues in coordination with operations.
    Update clients about shipment status, delays, or changes.

    1. Coordination with Operations & Documentation

    Work closely with the operations and documentation team to ensure smooth execution of shipments.
    Provide accurate shipping instructions and client requirements to the operations team.
    Ensure all documents (B/L, AWB, invoices, packing lists, etc.) are arranged correctly.

    1. Market & Competitor Analysis

    Monitor competitor pricing, promotions, and market strategies.
    Keep track of shipping line/airline freight rates and update management.
    Suggest competitive pricing strategies based on market trends.

    1. Reporting & Targets

    Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets (number of shipments, volume, or revenue).
    Submit weekly sales reports to management.
    Update and maintain client database (CRM system or Excel).

    1. Compliance & Professionalism

    Ensure compliance with Pakistan customs regulations, INCOTERMS, and international trade laws.
    Uphold the company’s reputation through ethical sales practices.
    Represent the company in client meetings, trade exhibitions, and networking events.

    Skills
    Skills & Requirements

    Strong knowledge of freight forwarding, logistics, and supply chain.
    Good communication (English & Urdu), negotiation, and presentation skills.
    Ability to work under pressure with monthly shipment targets.
    Proficiency in MS Office, emails, and preferably CRM tools.
    Existing client contacts in shipping and trading sectors is a plus.
