Qualification
- Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
Experience
- Experience in water treatment or RO plant operations.
Requirements
- Knowledge of water chemistry and treatment processes.
- Familiarity with RO systems, pH levels, and chlorinator systems is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and plant management software is preferred.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and environmental regulations.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor RO plant equipment and systems.
- Conduct regular water quality testing and maintain accurate records.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on pumps, membranes, valves, and instrumentation.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain inventory of chemicals and spare parts.
- Prepare daily operational reports and escalate issues as needed.
- Maintain records of plant operations, water quality reports, maintenance logs, and chemical inventories.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for internal and regulatory use.
- Coordinate with procurement for timely supply of chemicals, spare parts, and consumables.
- Assist in scheduling and monitoring routine maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
- Liaise with technical teams to track performance metrics and operational efficiency.
- Facilitate communication between plant operators, technicians, and management.
- Organize training sessions and safety briefings.
- Ensure documentation, including MSDS and SOPs, is up-to-date and compliant.
