Job Description
As the Head of Accounts & Finance, you will lead and oversee all financial activities for our group of companies. You will be responsible for ensuring accuracy, compliance, and financial transparency. You will handle both local and international financial operations, including import/export transactions, and advise senior management on strategic financial decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the entire Finance & Accounts function across the group.
- Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Handle import/export financial operations including Letter of Credit (LC) opening and retirement, bank dealings, documentation, and compliance with international trade regulations.
- Establish and enforce internal controls, audit practices, and risk management strategies.
- Maintain accurate ledgers, reconciliations, and prepare financial statements.
- Advise senior management on financial planning, investment, and growth initiatives.
- Ensure tax compliance, corporate filings, and adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Supervise, mentor and manage the finance/accounts team across all units to ensure efficiency and consistency.
Skills
- ACCA, MBA (Finance), or a comparable professional qualification.
- Minimum 5 years experience in a senior Accounts & Finance role, including import/export financial operations.
- Proficiency with accounting / ERP software and strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
- Excellent leadership, decision-making, and team management abilities.
- Strong knowledge of local and international financial regulations, trade finance, banking procedures, and compliance.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership.
