Job Description
A well-established company is seeking a responsible and experienced female caretaker cum household manager to oversee the smooth functioning of a private residence. The ideal candidate will be educated, organized, and capable of managing all household operations efficiently. This role requires hands-on involvement in supervising domestic staff, managing household budgets, coordinating maintenance activities, and ensuring the upkeep of pets and the garden. The position demands strong leadership and multitasking abilities to maintain a well-ordered and comfortable living environment.
Key Responsibilities
– Supervise and manage daily household operations, including monitoring utility bills and scheduling maintenance.
– Coordinate and oversee the activities of domestic staff such as maids, cooks, and drivers to ensure high standards are maintained.
– Arrange timely servicing and upkeep of household vehicles.
– Take care of pets and maintain the garden to ensure a pleasant home environment.
– Monitor and manage inventory of household supplies, including crockery and groceries, to avoid shortages.
– Maintain accurate records and manage household budgets efficiently.
– Liaise with external service providers and vendors as required to support household needs.
Required Qualifications
– Female candidate with at least a Bachelor’s degree preferred.
– Demonstrated experience in household management or a similar caretaker role.
– Strong organizational, supervisory, and multitasking skills.
– Ability to effectively coordinate with various staff members and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
– Reliable, trustworthy, and professional in conduct and appearance.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
– Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time as part of job duties.
– Ability to commute reliably within Karachi or plan to relocate before joining.
