Job description
The incumbent will be primarily responsible for designing test solutions and testing of applications built upon Enterprise Web Development using Java EE platform.
Must be passionate for quality and has a keen eye for designs and aesthetics
This role focuses on designing and implementing test solutions for enterprise web applications built on the Java EE platform, emphasizing quality and aesthetics.
- Role responsibilities: The position entails designing test solutions, testing APIs, debugging high-performance applications, developing testing frameworks, and contributing across all development phases. It also involves mentoring junior members and overseeing technical project aspects.
- Technical skills required: Proficiency in Selenium Web Driver, SoapUI, JMeter, Jenkins, Bash scripting, Elastic Search, Kafka, Docker & Kubernetes, MongoDB, node.js, Git, MySQL, Redis, and AWS is essential.
- Competencies emphasized: Key competencies include quick learning, applying functional and technical skills, staying updated with latest developments, building productive relationships, prioritizing tasks effectively, taking personal responsibility, and acting with integrity.
- Education and experience: Candidates should have a good understanding of web technologies, experience in automated testing and testing frameworks, excellent English communication skills, and hold a BS or MS degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
Job Description
- Experience of testing and debugging high-volume, low-latency, high performance applications which are highly available
- Experience in the testing of APIs, object-oriented design, agile development e.g. Scrum etc.
- Experience designing and developing testing frameworks
- Experience designing and developing functional, performance tests and test infrastructure
- Working experience in automated testing
- Ability to train and mentor junior team members
- Ability to contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work independently and must be self-driven
- Contribute to software deployment strategies
- Supervising and overseeing the technical aspects of projects whenever needed
- Regularly attending team meetings to discuss projects, brainstorm ideas, and put forward solutions to any issues
Qualifications
